PARINS has merged with Challenge North Staffs which is the organisation through which all types of hate crime and hate incidents can be reported. Hate crime is based on hostility towards 'difference' which could be due to race (including nationality, national origins, colour etc) , faith, religion or belief, disability including mental health issues, age, gender, transgender, sexual orientation, people belonging to subcultures eg, goths.

Hate crime based on race can be reported either via Parins website or via the CNS website.
